Our latest project for 2022 is in St Ives, Cornwall and currently in the construction phase. This development promises to deliver three exciting modern individual detached properties nestled within the mature wooded grounds of an old manor overlooking the stunning Carbis Bay beach. These properties are a measure of peace and tranquility within the hustle and bustle of one of Cornwall’s top tourist destinations.

Monotypic were approached by three individual clients to completely redesign each property to deliver a bespoke and unique home for each client, whilst working within the tight parameters of the existing planning consent and complex site location. Creating individual layouts and designs that resonate with each client and their tastes whilst retaining consistency in materiality and design across the scheme pushed us to think outside the box.
